Halifax District RCMP investigate suspicious fire, Enfield, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating a structure fire that occurred last night destroying an unoccupied cabin.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. Lower Sackville RCMP members were alerted by Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency (HRFE) of a structure fire off of Halls Rd.

in Enfield. Upon arrival, members found a small cabin, which is located a short distance into the woods, completely engulfed in flames. Preliminary investigation determined the cause of the fire was suspicious.

An investigator with HRFE has been called to assist police in determining the exact cause of the fire.

The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing with the investigation.
