Halifax District RCMP is investigating a rash of damages and graffiti at Ash Lee Jefferson Elementary School in Fall River.
Between July 13-17, 2015, suspects smashed a series of windows, sliced window screens, demolished three portable toilets, and sprayed graffiti on outside walls and doors, as well as the parking lot.
A total of 26 windows were smashed, and damages are estimated at over $9,000. Despite increased police patrols during the following weekend, vandals returned to once again spray graffiti on the exterior wall of the school.
Halifax District RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed these crimes, or has information about these crimes, to contact the RCMP non-emergency line at (902) 244-7208, Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or using Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
