Halifax District RCMP investigates rash of graffiti, Cole Harbour, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a rash of graffiti to homes and vehicles in Forest Hills that occurred overnight, Wednesday, September 16. At some point over the night on Wednesday, unknown suspect(s) spray painted graffiti on the doors and siding of three homes on Havelock Cres.

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a rash of graffiti to homes and vehicles in Forest Hills that occurred overnight, Wednesday, September 16.

At some point over the night on Wednesday, unknown suspect(s) spray painted graffiti on the doors and siding of three homes on Havelock Cres.

in Forrest Hills. Seven cars, which were parked along Havelock Cres., were also spray painted. A preliminary investigation has determined that suspect(s) broke into a shed on one of the properties and stole a can of primer paint. This paint was used to spray random markings on the affected homes and vehicles.

Halifax District RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed these crimes, or has information about these crimes, to contact the RCMP non-emergency line at (902) 244-7208, Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or using Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers could qualify for a cash reward of $50 – $2000.
