Halifax District RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft at a residence on Wakefield Ct.

At approximately 9:50 p.m. last night, Lower Sackville RCMP were called to investigate suspicious activity inside a home on Wakefield Ct.

The crime is believed to have occurred around 9:40 p.m., as a neighbour reported suspicious activity inside the home to the homeowner, who was out at the time.

Preliminary investigation determined that suspect(s) entered the home by prying open a rear window. Once inside, they rummaged through a number of rooms before leaving with two Gucci wrist watches and a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses. One watch has a black dial and a silver strap and the other is a digital watch with a silver dial and a red strap.

RCMP seized physical evidence left behind by the suspect(s) and is continuing with the investigation.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers could qualify for a cash reward of $50 – $2,000.
