Halifax District RCMP investigating shots fired in North Preston

Update:

At 8:57 p.m. last evening, Halifax District RCMP responded to a 911 call of multiple shots being fired towards a home on Downey Road in North Preston. No one was injured during the incident. Reports indicate a small black car was seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.

RCMP Police Dog Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Section assisted with collecting evidence at the scene last evening. The investigation is ongoing, being led by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
