Just after 2 p.m. on December 2, a dark coloured Dodge Caravan pulled up to the front of a business on Sackville Dr. in Lower Sackville.
Two men got out of the van, walked up to a display of snow blowers at the front of the business, pushed one back to the van, loaded in the back and drove off. An hour later they returned, and proceeded to load a second snow blower in to the van.
The investigation has determined that the security cables that were in place had been compromised resulting in the removal of the snow blowers. One of the snow blowers is a Husqvarna model ST 230P, valued at $1600, and the second one is a Husqvarna model ST 227P, valued at $1400.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020.
