Halifax District RCMP responded to a industrial accident this morning.
At approximately 8:04 a.m., members responded to a call of an industrial accident at a business on Barnes Dr. near the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. A preliminary investigation determined that a 35-year-old male sustained a head injury after being struck by a hangar door. The injuries are considered serious in nature and the male was transported to hospital by EHS.
The matter has been turned over to Federal Labour Program.
