Halifax District RCMP are searching the Shea Lake area for two missing hikers.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, RCMP received a call from a male reporting that he and a friend had become lost in the Shea Lake area. The two men, believed to be in their 40’s, are from the Truro area.

RCMP have mobilized Halifax Ground Search and Rescue and Halifax Regional Police Dog Service. The search is continuing.
