Halifax District RCMP seek public’s assistance locating missing West Jeddore man, West Jeddore, N.S.

At approximately 9:20 a.m., Musquodoboit Harbour RCMP responded to a report of a missing male in West Jeddore. Wayne Leonard Baker, age 61 of West Jeddore Road, was last seen at his home at approximately 4:45 a.m.

yesterday.

Baker is described as a white male with very long dark hair, moustache and goatee. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. Mr. Baker was last seen wearing blue jeans, black sneakers, a ball cap and possibly a green hooded sweatshirt.

Eastern Shore Ground Search and Rescue Team and a Halifax Regional Police K9 unit is currently assisting RCMP in searching the area close to West Jeddore Road.

Investigators are asking anyone who has information on this matter or who might have seen Mr. Baker to contact them.
