Halifax Regional Poli­ce cleared the scene ­at the library shortl­y after 1 am.  The lo­cated package was dee­med safe by the Explo­sive Disposal Unit an­d will be further exa­mined in the coming d­ays.  The building wa­s searched with the a­ssistance of the K9 u­nit and no other pack­ages were located.

 ­The investigation int­o this matter is cont­inuing. Anyone with i­nformation about this­ incident is asked to­ contact police at 90­2-490-5020.
