A man faces charges after a search today in Halifax by the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.

Early this morning, ICE investigators conducted a search of a residence in the 400 block of St. Margaret’s Bay Road. Officers arrested a man at the scene and seized computer equipment.

Seventy-two-year-old Dr. William Richard Vitale of Halifax is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court this afternoon to face charges of making available child pornography, possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
