Halifax man charged with voyeurism

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged a man in relation to a voyeurism incident that occurred early this morning in Halifax.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., police received a report from a woman who found a cellular phone on the floor of a staff washroom at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax. Upon retrieving the phone, the woman noticed it had been recording video. Upon arriving on scene, officers viewed the video and were able to identify a suspect who was arrested at the scene.

Twenty-four-year-old Roman Pegoski of Halifax appeared in Halifax Provincial Court earlier today to face a voyeurism charge.
