Halifax MP hosts bike ride starting from Spryfield

Info below via Megan Leslie.

Opportunity to take bike ride with your MP

Sunday, October 2 · 10:00am – 12:00pm
Two starting points: one in Spryfield, one on the peninsula

Megan Leslie, MP, along with Bicycle Nova Scotia and the Halifax Cycling Coalition, are hosting “Ride Your Riding” – a chance to:

-explore your community by bike
-brush up on bike safety
-learn about bike routes in your community
-learn about active and sustainable transportation at the federal level
-get some exercise, eat some food, and socialize with the cycling community!

Everyone is invited, from any level of experience. We will have route maps posted, and you can join in where you feel comfortable. Kids are welcome, too!

We will finish off at the Seaport Market at noon, where we can grab something to eat from local vendors, and learn a bit more about active and sustainable transportation policies.
