Halifax News MacKay Bridge Ramps – Guide Rail Repairs

Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be working overnight on the guide rails alongside the MacKay Bridge ramps on the Halifax side.

The on-ramp from Lady Hammond Road will be closed entirely to traffic from 9 p.m. tonight until about 6 a.m. tomorrow, Dec. 17. During that same period there will be lane reductions on the off-ramp from the bridge leading to the Windsor Street Exchange  and the Bedford Highway.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible. Eastern Fence and the municipality regret any inconvenience this work or the closures may cause.
