Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Prince Street in Halifax will be closed to vehicle traffic tomorrow, Dec. 9, to facilitate paving in the area.
Prince Street will shut down at 7 a.m. between Grafton Street and Brunswick Street to allow crews to pave that section. The street is expected to reopen by 7 p.m. that night. The current closure on Market Street will remain in place until Friday, Dec. 18. Pedestrians will continue to have access to both streets throughout these closures.
Please be advised that further rolling street closures in the area may be required as installation of underground infrastructure continues. Residents will be notified through Public Service Announcements when specific locations and times are confirmed. The municipality regrets any inconvenience these street closures may cause.
