involving a cat who had been shot with a BB gun.

Preliminary investigation determined that a pet cat had been gone for two days and when it returned home, the owner noticed it was suffering from an injury. The owner took the cat to a veterinarian who discovered approximately 20 BB gun pellets were embedded in the outer layer of its skin.
