November 4, 2010, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) …Members of the Halifax Integrated Drug Unit arrested two people after a search of residence in Lower Sackville, N.S.
On November 3rd, 2010, police conducted a search of the Tillock Drive, Lower Sackville, home. Police seized approximately one pound of marihuana, approximately $4000 in cash, as well as several weapons throughout the house.
Police also seized approximately 600 cartons of illegal cigarettes and turned them over to the RCMP Custom and Excise Unit.
Two people, 47-year-old Scott O'Hearn and 41-year-old Barbara Doyle, both of Lower Sackville, are charged under Section 5-2 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. They also face various weapon charges under the Criminal Code of Canada.
