Halifax Regional Pol­ice is investigating a robbery that occu­rred last night in Halifax

Just before 6 p.m. on June 7, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Bowlarama located at 7071 Bayers Road.  Police were advised that the suspect was inside the establi­shment and approached the bar area indic­ating he had a weapon and obtained an un­disclosed sum of mon­ey.  The suspect then fled on foot with no known direction of travel.  The victim was not physically injured.  Patrol members conta­ined the area shortly after the incident, but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is descr­ibed as a white male approximately 45-50 yrs old, 5’11­”, with long gray sa­lt and pepper hair.  He was wearing a br­own leather bomber style jacket at the time of the robbery.
