Cole Harbour RCMP were called to a Clarence Road address in their jurisdiction last night in relation to an injured 19 year old male suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The male was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services where he is currently receiving treatment for injures sustained in an assault early this morning in Halifax.
Through preliminary investigation officers believe they have located the area where the incident occurred near the intersection of Grafton Street and Blowers Street. Officers are currently onscene in that area and will be clearing shortly.
This investigation is currently in the early stages and more information will be made available when it is known.
