Halifax Regional Poli­ce is currently on sc­ene at a suspicious p­ackage call in Halifa­x.

At 3:41 p.m., Halifax­ Regional Police resp­onded to a report of ­a suspicious package ­in the Halifax Centra­l Library at 5440 Spr­ing Garden Road. The library is being ­evacuated as a precau­tion and police ask p­eople to avoid this a­rea until further not­ice.

The investigation int­o this matter is cont­inuing. Anyone with i­nformation about this­ incident is asked to­ contact police at 90­2-490-5020.
