Halifax Regional Police Advise the Public of a Potential Candy Tampering Accident

On October 9, a woman called police to report that she had discovered a paper clip when she bit into some candies from a bag of Maynard Sour Cherry Blasters. The candy had been purchased on October 7 at a convenience store in the Dickson Center Hospital on University Ave. The incident was reported to the Cadbury Company.
 
Police ask that anyone who finds any foreign objects in food refrain from throwing out the food, the object and the food wrapper/packaging. Please contact police so the items can be passed along to investigators.
