Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier today in Dartmouth.

At approximately 1:20 p.m. police responded to robbery that had just occurred at the Heritage Credit Union located at 155 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth.

A man with a knife came into the bank, demanded cash from the teller and fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s-40s approximately 5’10” with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the back, dark pants, and a black ski mask. The mane was approximately 5’10” with a medium build.
