Halifax Regional Police are Investigating the Robbery of a Needs Convenience Store

At approximately 1:40 am, Halifax Regional Police patrol members responded to a report of a robbery that had just taken place at the Needs Convenience store located in the 6100 block of Chebucto Rd in Halifax. 
 
A male suspect had entered the store and, demanded money from the clerk. Although the suspect motioned that he had a weapon none was seen. The suspect fled the store with a quantity of cash, a track was attempted by a  Halifax Regional Police  K9 unit, however, it proved negative. Suspect is described as a white male, 5’5”, blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a red jacket and  jeans. The investigation will be followed up by members of the Integrated General Investigation Section.
