Halifax Regional Police Investigate Weapons Call
Shortly after 8:00 p.m. 17 November, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a male entering a taxi with what appeared to be firearm, in the 2700 block of Agricola Street, Halifax. Officers confirmed the male exited the taxi in the 5500 block of Buddy Daye Street, Halifax. Patrol officers along with a Police Service Dog responded to the area of Buddy Daye Street and conducted a through search of the area, but were not able to locate the male.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip – Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
