Halifax Regional Police Investing Death of Man Reported to Have Fallen From Roof

Police are investigating the death of a man found lying on the ground outside a parkade in downtown Halifax.

At 12:51 p.m. today, police responded to a report that a man had fallen off the roof of a parkade at 1557 Granville Street. Responding officers located an injured man on the ground outside of the parkade and, took over from a citizen who had been performing CPR. The man was pronounced deceased on-scene by EHS.

At this point, the incident remains under investigation and there is no information to suggest that foul play is involved.
