Halifax Regional Police is investigating a bomb threat that was received this afternoon in Dartmouth.

At 3:41 p.m., police responded to the Nova Scotia Hospital at 300 Pleasant St. in Dartmouth for a bomb threat after a threatening phone call was received from an anonymous caller.

As a precaution the hospital was evacuated and officers temporarily closed down Pleasant St. in front of the hospital.​ Officers with the assistance of K9 searched the building and nothing suspicious was located.

All evacuated personnel and patients have now returned to the building and Pleasant St. has been re-opened to traffic.​ There were no injuries reported.
