Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this evening in Halifax
Just before 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at The Cake Lady located at 1549 Lower Water St. in Halifax. A man knocked on the rear door of the business and when the employee answered the suspect male appeared to be holding a knife in his sleeve and demanded money. The male obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled on foot. The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” tall, heavy set with a short scruffy beard and facial acne, wearing a gray hoodie with the hood up, blue and green checkered shorts and dirty white sneakers.
