Police investigating motor vehicle collision​ ​

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision on Kearney Lake Road in Halifax.

At 6:56 a.m., police received a report of a head-on collision involving two vehicles near the 100 block of Kearney Lake Road. A vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man struck an oncoming vehicle. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The three occupants of the other vehicle, the male driver and two children, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 55-year old driver, of Dartmouth, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm (x3), driving while prohibited and breach of conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow.
