Update: Missing man located

Seventy- year-old Geoffrey Lucas, has been located and is safe.

Police would like to thank the public and the media for their concern and assistance

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the assistance of the public in locating a missing person.

Geoffrey Lucas is in the city visiting and suffers from dementia.

He was last in the area of Lower Water St and Bishop St.

Mr Lucas is a white male who is 70 years of age, he is 5’7”-5’8” and of slim build, he was last seen wearing a green rain coat, dark baseball hat and light coloured pants.

Mr. Lucas is not believed to be operating a vehicle and is not familiar with the city.

Halifax Regional Police is asking the public to contact them should Mr Lucas be seen
