Halifax Regional Police officer arrested for theft

Halifax Regional Police officer arrested for theft

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) received a report regarding a theft involving an HRP officer in Halifax.

At approximately 2:45 p.m. on September 13, police received a report of a theft that had just occurred at a business.

The officer was arrested and released this evening on an appearance notice. The officer has been suspended with pay in accordance with the Nova Scotia Police Act. ​

The investigation is currently ongoing, and there are no further updates at this time. ​
