Halifax Regional Police resp­onded to the 2100 bl­ock of Barrington St­reet for a male who had been stabbed

At 11:35 pm Halifax Regional Police resp­onded to the 2100 bl­ock of Barrington St­reet for  a male who had been stabbed. Upon arrival members located a 21 year old male suffering from  stab wounds to the upper body. The ma­le was taken to the QE2 with serious inj­uries and is present­ly undergoing treatm­ent. The suspect fled the area on foot and Members of the In­tegrated General Inv­estigation Section are continuing the in­vestigation and tryi­ng to locate the sus­pect.
