Halifax Regional Police Respond to Armed Robbery on Chebucto Rd

At approximately 9:55 pm on August 4th, 2015, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a reported robbery in progress at the Needs store in the 6100 block of Chebucto Rd. The suspect was arrested by police as he was exiting the store and a quantity of cash and merchandise was recovered. The 45 year old male suspect is expected to appear in court today to face charges related to the robbery.
