Halifax Shipyard suspends operations due to COVID-19 case

Release:

“Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, we have decided to temporarily suspend production operations at the Halifax Shipyard for today (Friday, February 26).

Therefore the hourly employees are not to report.  Staff employees at the Shipyard are to work from home for the day.

Due to their location at Dartmouth, staff at the Bluenose Building are to report for work as normal as are all staff at Marine Fabricators and Woodside Industries.  Please continue to check the company’s social media during the day for further information and instruction.”
