Male Pepper Sprayed At Mall

At approximately 3:20PM Sunday Halifax Regional Police members responded to the Halifax Shopping Centre on Mumford Rd. for a report of a male pepper sprayed at this location.

Two of the suspects involved in this matter can only be described at this time as females. An adult male who is known to the victim was also involved in the incident and this adult male was arrested a short time later and is facing a threats charge as well as an unrelated weapons charge.

At approximately 9 PM the victim from the pepper spray incident contacted police again and advised that he had been assaulted by a male known to him. An adult male was arrested for this incident and is facing a number of weapons related charges. These incidents were not random acts.
