Just prior to midnight a suspect entered the Subway located at 5560 Fenwick Street in Halifax. He approached the employee, stated he had a gun and demanded cash. No gun was seen. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store. The employee was not injured. The area was checked with negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, 35 – 40 years of age, wearing a blue jacket, dark pants, dark shoes and a dark ball hat. The incident is under investigation by the General Investigative Section.
