The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Halifax Transit will be offering free transit service on Fridays and free ferry service on Saturdays throughout the summer.

From Friday, July 1 to Wednesday August 31, 2022 – transit service will be free of charge all day, every Friday for conventional bus, Access-A-Bus, regional express service and the ferry.

Alderney ferry will also be free all day, every Saturday during this period.
