High Call Volume and Triaging Response to Stormwater Damage
(July 21, 2023) Due to extreme rainfall, Halifax Water customers are reporting damage to their driveways and culverts. As a result, Halifax Water is experiencing a high volume of inquiries, and our response time may be delayed.

Given the safety risks associated with stormwater flooding undermining roadways and washouts, Halifax Water has requested that its field staff return to our depots. Crews will be redeployed tomorrow morning when we can visually assess the damage and triage our repairs on a priority basis.
