Parkhill Road Area – Water Service Shut Down
(Tuesday, November 2, 2021) Please be advised that water services for Parkhill Road, from Purcell’s Cove Road to Spring Kirk Road, will be shut down for construction services. Water service will be shut down beginning 9:00 AM Monday, November 8th, 2021 until approximately 12:00 PM Tuesday morning.
The following are things to keep in mind during this water shut down:
* To ensure that you have water during this period, please fill any empty containers you own so that you will have sufficient water to facilitate toilet flushing, drinking, cooking and other. * In the event of discoloured water, you may choose to run your cold water tap until clear. * It is also advised that you shut off your hot water heater during the duration of the shutdown to avoid back siphonage.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please observe social/physical distancing requirements (2 metres of separation).
