Traffic Advisory – Akerley Boulevard – Forcemain Replacement
(August 14, 2024) Beginning on Friday, August 16 and continuing until mid-September traffic will be delayed on Akerley Boulevard from Windmill Road to 14 Akerley Boulevard, Dartmouth for a sewer forcemain replacement. Working hours will be 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with daytime weekend work. There will be a lane drop on Akerley Boulevard in both directions with two-way traffic maintained. Sidewalks within the work zone will be open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. Halifax Water services will be maintained during this work.
