Traffic Advisory – Barrington Street – Wastewater System Maintenance
(January 21, 2022) Today, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to repair a manhole on Barrington Street near its intersection with Artz Street, Halifax.
Barrington Street will be reduced to a single inbound lane in this area. Both outbound lanes will remain open. Sidewalks and crosswalks will remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
