Traffic Advisory – Dunbrack Street & Walter Havill Drive – Water Main Repair Preparations
(June 16, 2023) Halifax Water crews have been coordinating with contractor staff and preparations to repair a water main leak on Dunbrack Street, Halifax. This work includes system reconfigurations that will continue to provide water service to customers during the repair. While preparation work is underway, water will be present on the road. Traffic cones are in place in the left turning lane on Walter Havill Drive; this will shorten the lane and ensure vehicles avoid the gravel area with water leaking from it. Sidewalks remain open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure work may cause.
