Traffic Advisory – Ellenvale Avenue – Water Valve Replacement
(July 28, 2022) Until 4:00 PM today, Halifax Water crews will be replacing a water valve near 75 Ellenvale Avenue, Dartmouth. Impacted water service customers have been notified. Ellenvale Avenue is open to local traffic only between Grandview Drive and Spring Avenue. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
