Traffic Advisory – Harvard Street – Water Main Repair  
   
(June 4, 2024) Until approximately 4:00 p.m. today, Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair on Harvard Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Harvard Street, from Duncan Street to Lawerence Street, will be open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
