Traffic Advisory –Hollis Street, Agricola Street & Barrington Street – Manhole Repairs
(August 2, 2024) From 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, August 5, Halifax water crews will be performing manhole repairs near the following locations:
· 1554 Hollis Street, Halifax.
· Agricola Street between Bloomfield Street and North Street, Halifax.
· Barrington Street near the Intersection of Africville Road, Halifax.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zones. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
