Traffic Advisory – Joseph Howe Drive – Hydrant Replacement

(April 18, 2024) Starting at 7:00 AM on Sunday, April 21, Halifax Water crews will be on-site replacing a hydrant near 3371 Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.

There will be a lane reduction in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will be closed. 

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary replacement work may cause.
