Traffic Advisory – Joseph Howe Drive – Stormwater System Maintenance 
  
(May 10, 2024) From 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, Halifax Water crews will conduct stormwater system maintenance along Joesph Howe Drive, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.  

Crews will begin near 3824 Joseph Howe Drive and continue to the Joesph Howe off-ramp towards Bedford. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open. 

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
