Traffic Advisory – Kempt Road – Wastewater System Maintenance

(October 18, 2024) Halifax Water crews will be conducting wastewater system maintenance on sections of Kempt Road from Young Street to Lady Hammond Road, Halifax, between midnight tonight and 10:00 AM tomorrow, Saturday, October 19.

There will be rolling sections of stop-and-go traffic within this area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
