Traffic Advisory – Portland Street & Bruce Street – Reinstatement Work
(April 22, 2022) On behalf of Halifax Water, Dexter Construction will be completing the removal of aging wastewater infrastructure and reinstating the street, curbs, sidewalks, and landscaping in the project area following the successful installation of a new wastewater pump station and related infrastructure near the intersection of Portland Street and Bruce Street, Dartmouth. This work will take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, beginning the week of April 25 and continuing until late May. A single inbound lane will be maintained on Portland Street near this work while construction and reinstatement work takes place. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
