Traffic Advisory – Portland Street – Stormwater System Repair
(August 10, 2023) From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday, August 11, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to repair part of the stormwater system near 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. On-street parking near this work will be blocked off in advance of this work. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this work will be closed with pedestrian detours in place. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
