Traffic Advisory – Rutledge Street – Wastewater System Maintenance

(November 9, 2023) Until approximately 2:00 PM today Halifax Water crews will be performing wastewater system maintenance on Rutledge Street, Bedford. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
· Rutledge Street from the Bedford Highway to Pleasant Street is closed. Detours are in place.
· There are lane reductions on the Bedford Highway near the intersection of Rutledge Street with two-way traffic maintained.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
